There is a popular crab fishing spot among locals along Gorombe Beach in Esashi’s symbolic Kamomejima Island.

| What to bring | You can buy the equipment for crab fishing in a shop called Plat Esashi (Official Esashi souvenir shop) in the Kaiyomaru Museum. Crab fishing set for 100 yen (tax incl.) Please choose and buy some snacks (bait) for the fish. They are also available in Plat Esashi. |
Please release caught crabs to the ocean.
