Ryotei Kuki

Ryotei Kuki

Beyond a stone fence is a modern, wooden building with guest rooms (7 Western/Japanese rooms) featuring Kakenagashi (flowing) hot spring baths from the source where guests can relax and enjoy a luxurious time.

Kuki cuisine

Kuki offers a seasonal Kaiseki cuisine (traditional multi-course Japanese dining) using locally sourced ingredients including Hokkaido poultry and Suffolk sheep grown at the directly managed Takumi farm, pesticide-free/organically cultivated vegetables and wild plants, and freshly caught seafood.
A selection of local Hokkaido wine, Japanese rice wine, and shochu is available.

Hot springs at Kuki

The hot springs flow from an ancient stratum 1407m below ground is a "weakly alkaline hypotonic hot spring" with pH 7.8 containing sodium, bicarbonate, and sulfates. The bubble (carbonic) effect softens the surface of the skin, removes skin keratin, and is also effective for beautiful skin due to the weak alkaline effect. In addition, the sulfate spring lowers blood pressure, improves blood circulation, is effective for hypertension and arteriosclerosis, promotes metabolism of the human body and waste product excretion, and provides a refreshing feeling after bathing due to induced perspiration.
