This bakery opened after the owner returned to his hometown, after training at a bakery in Sapporo, and has since become very popular among the locals.
They offer about 40 different types of bread that are always freshly baked and the store closes when it is all sold out.
The storehouse attached to the building was built in the Edo period and is used as a gallery to preserve the history and culture of Esashi for future generations.
