Hands-on tourism - Learn the Esashi oiwake (Esashi folk song)

"To the sound of seagulls singing, I awoke; those must be the mountains of Ezo (another word for Hokkaido)." When speaking of Esashi, the Esashi oiwake comes to mind. At the Esashi Oiwake Museum, the oiwake dojo is open to guests who wish to try singing the Esashi oiwake. The onsite instructor, who has won prior national competitions, will give easy-to-understand instructions. The coaching fee is covered by the admission fee to the Esashi Oiwake Museum. Come sing at Esashi, the village of the oiwake!
